General Product & Service Questions
What brands and models do you supply?
We're a proud partner of Kaeser Compressors and Festo Pneumatics. We also supply Exair pneumatic products, Aircom aluminium piping systems, Sysadvance nitrogen generators, and Airsweep material handling solutions. Our team are highly experienced in these product ranges and undergo regular specialist training.
What types of maintenance and repair services do you offer?
We work on a preventative maintenance framework. Generally a compressor requires a minor service every 2000 or 3000 hrs, or every 12 or 18 months. We track the run hours of your compressor and generate a quote when it’s coming close to being due. We also offer service agreements, which split up the servicing costs into manageable monthly amounts. As well as servicing air compressors, we also offer maintenance and repairs on factory pneumatic equipment.
Do you provide custom compressed air systems or pipework solutions?
We do. We can provide design and installation of anything from compressor room layouts, to new builds, to custom container solutions. We can tailor a complete turnkey solution to whatever your project requirements.
What industries do you serve?
We serve a wide range of industries. Everything from construction, to food production, to mining, to education. View here to see a comprehensive list of industries we’ve served.
Are on-site assessments or consultations available?
Absolutely; and it’s often preferred. Our team would love to visit your site to get the full picture of what you’re hoping to achieve so we can offer a custom tailored solution. Visit our contact page to request an on-site assessment.
Technical & Support
How do I know what size air compressor my business needs?
Rather than guess, we assess your air demand and application. Correct sizing avoids both underperformance and the wasted energy that comes from an oversized system.
How can I book in maintenance or repairs?
If you have a service agreement with us, or get regular servicing with us, we’ll contact you when servicing is due. Otherwise you can contact us to arrange.
Do you service equipment you didn't supply?
Yes. Our technicians have experience servicing a wide range of brands and products.
Do you offer after-hours emergency support?
We do. You can call us at 0800 523 737 any time to get support. For callouts outside of our business hours, we have a minimum charge of 3 hours at $198/hour.
Can you help reduce our energy costs?
Yes. We can take a comprehensive look at your site to identify opportunities for cost savings, whether it be through air leak detection and repair, alternative compressor setups, or heat recovery. Through these methods we have saved a number of businesses 30% in compressed air energy costs.
Purchase & Shipping
How can I request a quote or place an order?
You can request a quote or place an order by calling us, emailing us, filling out our contact form, or visiting one of our branches. View our contact details and locations here.
What areas do you service or ship to?
PSL Total Air services the entire South Island of New Zealand. We also partner with Plummer Compressors to provide servicing in the wider Auckland region. Parts can be shipped nationwide, as well as overseas in some cases.
What are your typical lead times?
Lead times can vary significantly depending on availability of parts within NZ or if we need to bring them in from overseas. For pneumatic components and fittings, we carry a wide range of parts in our stores. Larger equipment such as compressors can sometimes take a few months to arrive, so we recommend placing orders in advance.
Do you provide installation, and is it included in the price?
Yes, we will install and commission your equipment. This is an additional cost.
